Id Sweat Acne and Overall Anti-bacterial Monolaurin Gel (50 mL)
This unique, skin-safe, coconut-derived monoglyceride is superbly simple, but packs one powerhouse of a skin-protective and therapeutic punch.
Treats the fungus that causes sweat acne (pityrosporum folliculitis), and is an impressive overall, broad-spectrum topical anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-protozoal treatment.
In clinical studies, this gel had a success rate of 100% when treating sweat acne, while keeping skin cooler, preventing over-sweating, and therefore preventing recurrence.
Unlike less skin-friendly anti-acne antibiotics and anti-fungals, this gel showed 0% irritation.
Also ideal for use on bare skin or under make-up to prevent shine and give skin a naturally fresh, matte finish.
NOTE: If your acne is very large, inflamed or widespread, consult a dermatologist before pursuing any topical skin care.
To Use:
As often as needed...
For Sweat Acne: Squeeze out gel and apply on chest, back, arms, thighs, other sweaty areas.
For Face or Body Acne: Apply over affected areas, carefully avoiding mucosal (wet) areas of genitalia, eyes, nostrils and mouth.
For Shine Control: Use on bare skin or before makeup.
Can be reapplied as needed throughout the day.
Notes:

1) Men: What Skin Care Should We Use? - I'm a man and new to skin care ... what should I use?
If you're of the burlier sex and shopping at VMV, use whatever you want to!
All skin - across genders, races, and ages - may look different, but skin is fundamentally the same at the cellular level. That is, under a microscope, skin cells are skin cells. Dark skin and light skin share much the same cellular make up; the difference is in how the cells behave (the cells of darker skin produce more pigment, for example). Even baby skin cells are surprisingly developed, with hair follicles already cycling at a very young age.
2) Hyperhydrosis (Excessive Sweating) - Our Id Sweat Acne and Overall Monolaurin Gel is formulated specifically as an antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral disinfectant that keeps skin drier and more sweat-free. Keep the Id Gel and Essence Antiperspirant handy all day for repeat applications.
3) Men: Common Skin Concerns - What To Know About Facial Cleansing:
* It's necessary. Acne and shaving bumps can be reduced just with proper cleansing. Even irritations due to ingredients being left on the skin or the exposure of the skin to other environmental irritants can also be helped by proper daily cleansing.
* Avoid soap for facial cleansing. Soaps, because of the way they are made, inherently have very high pH levels than cream cleansers and can cause drying and irritations on the face (a very high pH de-natures the skin). See Cleansers Vs. Soaps in the VMV Knowledge Base for more information.
