Penetration: A common problem of lightening therapy is getting the active ingredients deep enough in the skin to be effective. Unbuffered (undiluted) glycolic acid deposits the tyrosinase inhibitors deeper in the skin while also forcing newer, brighter, healthier cells to the skin's surface.

Sustained Effects: Hyperpigmentations are very stubborn. Armada Post-Procedure Indoor-Outdoor Sun + Light Screen (included with every Cream) prevents repigmentation.

To Use:

Gently massage a pea-sized dollop (just enough so it is quickly absorbed) onto face, neck, chest + hands, carefully avoiding mucosal (wet) areas of eyes, nostrils + mouth.

Follow with enclosed Armada Post-Procedure Barrier Cream 50+ (or your choice of an indoor-outdoor Armada Sun + Light Screen) every day, whether indoors or outdoors + whether or not this Cream has been applied on a given day (starter size included in Illuminants Cream box). Apply liberally before sun exposure, as well as every day, both indoors and outdoors, carefully avoiding membranous areas of eyes and nostrils. Blend well. When outdoors, reapply at least every 1 to 2 hours, after swimming or sweating and after towel drying.

IMPORTANT: Start the Armada Post-Procedure Barrier Cream 50+ daily, immediately. Start using Illuminants+ Cream only 1x-a-week in the beginning. Very slowly increase to 3x-a-week, then 1x-every-other-day, etc. until you achieve 2x-a-day usage (no earlier than week 8 of therapy). DO NOT RUSH.

1ST-TIMERS: Start with Illuminants+ Cream: Primary Brilliance Treatment. After 2x-a-day usage is comfortably achieved, you may progress to Illuminants+ Cream: Advanced Brilliance Treatment (re-start at the beginning: 1x-a-week applications). In the interim, you can use Illuminants+ Face-Hand-Body Lotion for daily facial hydration.

Therapy Notice: Some first-time users of Illuminants+ may experience an initial reaction of a slight redness or mild stinging. With correct use-slowly increasing application frequency, using hypoallergenic support products, and following all instructions carefully-this initial reaction quickly disappears. If it does occur, stop use for one week, and restart therapy at the beginning, with 1x-a-week applications.

Sunburn Warning: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sun-screen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Notes:

Before using any product, test a tiny amount of it on skin (we omit allergens, but you may be sensitive to an ingredient that isn't an allergen).

Introduce new products one at a time, with at least 3 days in between to make sure you are not allergic.

Do not store in extreme temperatures, or in direct sunlight.

Do not (re)introduce removed portions of product, water or other substances into product.

UV exposure from the sun increases the risk of skin cancer, premature skin aging and other skin damage. It is important to decrease UV exposure by limiting time in the sun, wearing protective clothing, and using a sunscreen.

UV rays from the sun are made of UVB + UVA. It is important to protect against both UVB + UVA rays to prevent sunburn and other skin damage.

As much as possible, practice sun avoidance particularly for children and the photosensitive, and especially between 10AM-2PM (10:00-14:00).

Stop use + consult your doctor in the unlikely event of discomfort or sensitivity.

If contact with eyes occurs, flush out with plenty of water. Keep out of reach of children. While safe for its intended use, ingesting large amounts of this product - as unattended children may do - is potentially harmful. If large quantities of this product have been ingested, get medical help right away.
