Red Better Flare-Up Balm
Those susceptible to rosacea seem to be genetically predisposed, have colonization of certain microbes, and have high levels of pro-inflammatories.
Red Better Flare-Up Balm tackles all these with:
- Monolaurin, monocaprin + monocaprylate (coconut fatty-acid-derived anti-microbials): target demodex folluculorum, Helicobacter pyloris and other rosacea-triggering microbes.
- Several anti-inflammatories: potassium azeloyl diglycinate (a gentler azelaic acid derivative which also reduces cathelicidins), monolaurin + antioxidants.
- Sulfur: proven treatment for rosacea-related papules and pustules.
All in a rich, deeply hydrating + soothing balm.
Also ideal for irritations, inflammations, redness, bites, itching, rashes + microbial infections from allergic/irritant reactions; seborrheic dermatitis, rosacea, eczema, atopic/contact dermatitis + some other medically-managed conditions.
To Use:
When "skin emergency" dot a tiny speck on affected areas and spread gently. Apply up to 2x-a-day, as needed. If condition continues or worsens, see a dermatologist. Prevention with our Red Better line + our hair/bath/body care is important. For use on children, ask your pediatrician.
Before using any product, test a tiny amount of it on skin (we omit allergens, but you may be sensitive to an ingredient that isn't an allergen). Introduce new products one at a time, with at least 3 days in between.
Do not store in extreme temperature. Do not (re)introduce removed product or other substances into container. As with all things skin, consult your dermatologist.
