Hydra Balance Smart Cleansing Scrub: VH -74/76*

Superskin 2 Primer Toner: VH -76/76

Hydra Balance Smart Moisturizer 15: VH -75/76*

NOTE: If your acne is very large, inflamed or widespread, consult a dermatologist before pursuing any topical skin care.

Step 1: Hydra Balance Smart Cleansing Scrub.

To Use:

2x-a-day, massage a small amount onto damp skin. Rinse well with water. Do not apply pressure or rub vigorously--a gentle massage is all you need. Do not scrub any one area for longer than 1 to 2 seconds at a time.

Step 2: Superskin 2 Primer Toner.

To Use:

Moisten (do not soak) cotton applicator with Toner. Swipe gently over face, neck + chest. Avoid mucosal (wet) areas of eyes, nostrils + mouth.

Daytime: Follow with Armada Sun + Light Screen every day, whether indoors or outdoors + whether or not this Toner has been applied on a given day.

IMPORTANT: Start using 2x-a-week only. Very slowly increase to 3x-a-week, then 1x-every-other-day, etc. until you achieve 2x-a-day usage (no earlier than week 8 of therapy).

1ST-TIMERS: Some first-time users of Superskin may experience an initial reaction of a slight redness or mild stinging. With correct use-slowly increasing application frequency, using hypoallergenic support products, and following all instructions carefully-this initial reaction quickly disappears. If it does occur, stop use for one week, and restart therapy at the beginning, with 2x-a-week applications.

Sunburn Warning: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sun-screen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Step 3: Hydra Balance Smart Moisturizer 15

To Use:

Apply liberally before sun exposure, as well as every day, both indoors and outdoors. When outdoors, reapply at least every 1-2 hours, after swimming or sweating and after towel drying.

Notes:

If your acne is very large, inflamed or widespread, consult a dermatologist before pursuing any topical skin care.

Before using any product, test a tiny amount of it on skin (we omit allergens, but you may be sensitive to an ingredient that isn't an allergen).

Introduce new products one at a time, with at least 3 days in between to make sure you are not allergic.

Do not store in extreme temperatures, or in direct sunlight.

Do not (re)introduce removed portions of product, water or other substances into product.

UV exposure from the sun increases the risk of skin cancer, premature skin aging and other skin damage. It is important to decrease UV exposure by limiting time in the sun, wearing protective clothing, and using a sunscreen.

UV rays from the sun are made of UVB + UVA. It is important to protect against both UVB + UVA rays to prevent sunburn and other skin damage.

As much as possible, practice sun avoidance particularly for children and the photosensitive.

As with all things skin, consult your dermatologist.

Important:

For external use only on specified areas as directed.

Stop use + consult your doctor in the unlikely event of discomfort or sensitivity.

If contact with eyes occurs, flush out with plenty of water. Keep out of reach of children. While safe for its intended use, ingesting large amounts of this product - as unattended children may do - is potentially harmful. If large quantities of this product have been ingested, get medical help right away.

While it's true that many people with Combination Skin do not suffer the problems of Oily or Dry Skin, several Combination Skinned people have to deal with the problems of both. And while Combination Skin is often neither too dry nor too oily, it can actually suffer from the two extremes: certain areas being uncomfortably dry and allergy-prone, and others being very oily and acne-prone. What's the Big Difference? Because of the way soaps are made, they inherently tend to have higher pH levels than cream cleansers. Why are pH-Levels Important? Your skin's natural pH is neutral, at about 5.5 to 6.5. Ideally, anything you use on your skin should be close to that range to keep your skin comfortable. Read More

Depending on the treatment, many people can start anti-acne therapy at a fairly young age—as early as age 9 for prophylactic care and if guided by a dermatologist. For those who seem like possible candidates for hereditary acne (if the family tends to suffer from acne), starting early is frequently recommended because it serves as preemptive treatment, either preventing the problem from occurring or lessening its intensity.
