  • To Use

Massage pea-sized dollop over face, neck, chest + hands. Avoid mucosal (wet) areas of eyes, nostrils + mouth. Daytime: Follow with Armada Sun + Light Screen whether indoors or outdoors, and whether or not this product was applied on a given day.
IMPORTANT: Start using 2x-a-week only. Very slowly increase to 3x-a-week, then 1x-every- other-day, etc. until you achieve 2x-a-day usage (no earlier than week 8). DO NOT RUSH. See Application Frequency Guide on side panel of this box.

    Therapy Notice:
Some first-time users of Illuminants+ may experience an initial reaction of a slight redness or mild stinging. With correct use-slowly increasing application frequency, using hypoallergenic support products, and following all instructions carefully-this initial reaction quickly disappears. If the stinging and redness persists, stop use for one week, and restart therapy at the beginning, with 1x-a-week applications.

Sunburn Warning: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Before using any product, test a tiny amount of it on skin (we omit allergens, but you may be sensitive to an ingredient that isn't an allergen).

Introduce new products one at a time, with at least 3 days in between to make sure you are not allergic.

Do not store in extreme temperatures, or in direct sunlight.

Do not (re)introduce removed portions of product, water or other substances into product.

UV exposure from the sun increases the risk of skin cancer, premature skin aging and other skin damage. It is important to decrease UV exposure by limiting time in the sun, wearing protective clothing, and using sunscreen.

UV rays from the sun are made of UVB + UVA. It is important to protect against both UVB + UVA rays to prevent sunburn and other skin damage.

As with all things skin, consult your dermatologist.

For external use only on specified areas as directed.

Practice sun avoidance - particularly for children and the photosensitive, and especially between 10 A.M. - 2 P.M. (10:00-14:00) - as much as possible.

Stop use + consult your doctor in the unlikely event of discomfort or sensitivity.

If contact with eyes occurs, flush out with plenty of water.

Keep out of reach of children. While safe for its intended use, ingesting large amounts of this product - as unattended children may do - is potentially harmful. If large quantities of this product have been ingested, get medical help right away.

Free sunblock is expiring 1/17

Free sunblock is expiring 1/17 so I decided not to use the rest of the product until I buy VMV sunblock. Also, the face wash is expiring 2/17. How come the company still sending product near to expiration, such expensive product that cannot be used.

VMV Hypoallergenics

Hi Cecilia! Thanks for writing in! We sincerely apologize because the products you received seemed to be expiring soon! We notified our team and an investigation is already being done as we speak. To help them investigate, may we ask you for the lot and batch codes of the products for our investigation (this is a series of numbers/letters at the bottom or back of the box or tube)? This information will allow us to help you better. While we wait for your response, allow us to share some information that you might find helpful: Most VMV products have a longer shelf life than 2 years (some go as high as 5 years or even longer); most active ingredients are tested to have the same degree of efficacy for up to two years. Our expiration dates are mostly indicated for retail purposes. Please know that this shelf-life period is primarily for the benefit of wholesalers to determine how long they can keep items on display or in stock. Many of our products last much longer. And beyond their "good by" period, they do not necessarily "rot" or "go bad" unless there has been a microbial contamination. Check for separation or a major change in color or texture, or a rancid smell. We hope to hear from you! Skincerely, VMV HYPOALLERGENICSå¨

I was soooo glad receiving

I was soooo glad receiving the items but unfortunately they are one and halb year old and have only about 5-6 months till expired date. Moreover the cleanser tube is damaged. I was not really in a mood to send it back and claim, and am not sure if a new delivery will be better. After 2 weeks of using, I notice that my skin is more radiant and skin tone more even. By the way, I am kind of worried coz I am now breastfeeding. A skin expert at a retail shop of this brand told me it is fine to use but on the packaging you can see some ingredients which are to avoid during breastfeeding like Probens.

the product takes about 8
