This lipstick is awesome, first because my lips didn’t break out in a rash (always good) but second because it’s long wearing and didn’t dry my lips out. I only have it 4 stars because it reads a little orange on me and I was looking for more of a neutral go to type color that I could wear with everything.
I love these lipsticks!!! Beautiful colors, hypoallergenic, no bleeding outside of lips, nondrying!
No allergic reaction!
So excited about this lipstick! Its really cute. Matte. I have had allergic reactions to sooo many things and specifically my lips swell up so I was so happy to find something that I can put on my lips without a reaction. Also I am allergic to a specific type of red dye in lipstick so was just so so happy to not have a reaction! Will continue buying from this brand!
Good quality not so good color
Color looked reddish on my screen.....turned out to be fushia on my lips. Please give us gals a description of each color do we can best determine if that is,inded, the one we are looking for.
New shade: Ruby
Actually 4.5 stars but I rounded up. I am a BIG fan of VMVHypoallergenics...95 percent of my makeup/skincare is from this company (I would be so happy to make that 100 percent if they made just a couple more products...a gell eyeliner and a liquid (squeeze tube) eyeshadow would be amazing!). Anyway, VMVHypoallergenics' lipsticks are the only ones I can wear without a reaction, but at first I was a bit disappointed in the color options, as so many of them had warm rather than cool undertones. I have very pale white skin, pinkish cheeks, light eyes, and very dark hair, and anything orangey, brown, or hot pink looks very weird on me. I have been snapping up the red lipsticks when they're in stock, but none had that BLUE undertoned, French-girl ultra-red I was searching for. So when I saw "Ruby" announced, I grabbed it as soon as it was available. I will say, when I first opened it I was a tiny bit sad that it looked more brown than I expected. However, I'm happy to report that it does look good on, despite not being *quite* as red-red as I was hoping for. I added a touch of "Cabaret" gloss over it, which helped as I'm not generally a fan of mattes (though these are creamy and non-drying, which is nice). Haven't tried the Ruby gloss yet, but that might be next on the agenda. Overall I'd say this is a slightly qualified win.
